Troops of 52 Division celebrated the 68th Army Day in Jaffna

In line with 68th Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army, troops of 52 division organized a community welfare project to uplift the standards of education in their respective area. Upon the direction of the Major General Aruna Wanniarachchi, General Officer Commanding 52 Division and the troops donated School Bags, pairs of Shoes and pairs of Socks for the students of Madihe Pannashiha Vidyalaya, Puttur on 06 October 2017.

Accordingly, they donated pairs of shoes for teachers as well. Total worth of the donation is Rs. 100,000.00. During the ceremony, 3 students who have got through the grade 5 Scholarship for the first time of the school history were also appreciated.
