A great encouragement to Jaffna students by the Army

Accommodating a request made by the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna, the Lions Club of Makola district 306 B2 donated Laptop Computers to 3 students of Jaffna district who secured Island 1st and 3rd places in Physical Science and Island 3rd place is Bio System Technology at the GCE (A/L) Exam 2017. In addition to Laptop Computers, each student will receive Rs 5000/= per month as a scholarship for their higher studies.

Sridharan Thuwakaran of J/Hartly College (Island first in Physical Science), R.D.J Paul Jansen of J/St Patrick College (Island third in Physical Science) and Kamaleshwaran Senthilnadan of J/Vembady Girls College (Island third in Bio Systems Technology) were appreciated during the Ceremony.
