English Language Development Course Ends Successfully

A three-month course to improve English Language Skills of Soldiers serving within the Jaffna Peninsula was conducted by Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna from 10th July to 17th October 2018 at the Headquarters. 41 Soldiers from various regiments benefitted out of the course which included many areas of the language and its uses. The 1st Place in order of merit was secured by S/631137 Craftsman Wijenayake RPDAD of the 4th Battalion of Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineer Regiment while the 2nd and 3rd places were awarded to S/725812 Private Gamage SS and S/725478 Private Madushani HPN of the 1st and 7th Battalions of Sri Lanka Army Women's Corps.

The termination of the course took place following a Variety Show by the Students and the Distribution of Certificates carried out by Commander Security Force - Jaffna, Major General Darshana Hettiarrachchi on 16th October 2018 amidst a large number of Military Personnel.
