The 52 Division Team clinched T - 20 Soft Ball Cricket Trophy 2019 at the Cricket Tournament organized by 553 Brigade under the supervision of 55 Division on the directions of Headquarters Security Forces- Jaffna.

The final match was held at the RTCM School ground at Maradankerni on Sunday 01st December 2019 and witnessed by a large number of cricket fans and distinguished guests including Major General Ruwan Wanigasooriya, Commander Security Forces - Jaffna who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. General Officers Commanding, Brigade Commanders, Senior Officers and civilians in the area were also present at the event.

The cricket tournament was conducted with the participation of 10 cricket teams representing troops deployed under Security Forces Headquarters-Jaffna, including 51,52 and 55 Divisions and Forward Maintenance and Area. Accordingly, 52 Division Team and 55 Division Team qualified for the finals. The 52 Division Team won the series by defeating 55 Division by 3 wickets. The Man of the Match was Second Lieutenant Sachintha de Silva of 4 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment and Man of the Series, Best Baller and Best Batsman were awarded to Lance Corporal Susantha Kumara KGDR of 52 Division at the awards ceremony.

At the end of the awards ceremony, Commander Security Forces - Jaffna presented the 'Security Forces Jaffna T 20 Cricket Trophy 2019' to the winning team of 52 Division.
